For those of you who know me, last week was a v e r y long week for me at work. Two nights in a row, I exceeded the regular ol’ 9-to-5 schedule by at least 5 hours and by the time Friday rolled around, I was ready to have a relaxing weekend of lazy mornings, cups of tea and getting creative. Lucky for me, I also had a floral delivery to look forward to courtesy of Bouqs, the greatest new floral delivery company you have ever met.

Flashback to about two weeks ago when I knew full well what was coming; late nights at the office, too much coffee and not enough loveliness in my life. As if by floral godmother magic, I check my e-mail to a delightful message from Adam at Bouqs, looking to brighten up my day with a bouquet of flowers in exchange for an introduction to my readers. (Adam, meet readers. Readers…)
As quickly as I could, I responded, telling him that I’d love to be involved and that I wanted to learn more. After a quick sign-up process and the selection of my very own bouquet, all I had to do was wait. Just like magic, my bouquet arrived on Friday as expected, just in time for me to get home, relax and stare at something lovely before I sat down to write this post.
Fun facts about Bouqs:
-They believe, “Being good to the customer is not antithetical to financial success. The two are, actually, best friends.“
-“Our flowers never sit in a corner store or a dingy warehouse (where they send you the oldest, most-dead flowers they have in the fridge), and they never show up in a van with a 1-800 number on the side. We ship straight from an active volcano or from the sunny surf of California, seriously – we’re putting a little romance back in the Bouq.“
-“I approach flowers like a fashion brand approaches clothing. We stay current and pull inspiration from the world around us.“-Chief Floral Designer, Eric Buterbaugh
