I know, I know, I’ve been absolutely terrible at updating you on the everyday of my life as a city girl.
Honestly, there is so much going on in my day-to-day (more on that later) but I just had to share my recent adventures at The Square at Chestnut Hill.
Keep reading for what I did, where I went & why I love this new and improved shopping center!
As I’ve mentioned before, one of the best parts of being a blogger is meeting new, creative people with passions and interests that inspire me to share my own perspective. It’s even better when they have an affinity for fitness, good food, sparkly accessories & sweet treats.
A few weekends ago, all of my favorite things collided as I descended upon the newest shopping neighborhood with Mom & a few other bloggers.
Our day started at SoulCycle where I figured I’d be participating in the kind of class that Kate Hudson would take in one of her witty romantic comedies. I was so right. And so wrong. What awaited me, (and Mom) was an energized sweat-fest set to dance versions of some of my favorite songs. And I was on a bike.
This class was the best and I mean that despite the fact that I was hardly ever on the right foot. (Yes, there is such a thing.) I think what I loved most about this class was that afterwards I got a chance to chat with my instructor, Erin, who is a former Rockette. Getting #fitspiration from a fellow dancer was a great way to kickstart my new love for this amazing workout.
Next was a trip to sweetgreen for a healthy bite. I had only ever heard of sweetgreen from friends before I ventured in and ordered a “Guacamole Greens” salad. In case you didn’t know, sweetgreen is famous for its local and seasonal menus at every location. That’s right, each location’s menu is specifically designed and curated from local produce making it one of the most innovative, “pro-“shop local” and truly delicious spots to satisfy your tummy.
