WEAR I Went: The Fall 2015 Edit

You don’t always appreciate where you are. It’s part of being busy and constantly feeling obligated to be on some sort of schedule. I’m not saying it’s a good thing but its a habit I’m working on breaking. The last several weeks have been a crash course in slowing down and appreciating all the little moments in perfect time for the holidays.

Reading List: Summer 2015

While my beach days have been basically nonexistent this summer, I haven’t let that stop me from flipping a few pages on my commute. I try to always have a book going in case of emergency (slash no free wi-fi) because there’s nothing better than getting lost in a good story (and I don’t mean Snapchat).

Resilience Is Golden

One of the smartest things I’ve ever done was slow down. Granted, it wasn’t by choice but my quarter-life crisis sure came in handy and helped me sort out my priorities. It doesn’t sound all that glamorous, and it certainly wasn’t, but I definitely learned how to make it worth my while.

It’s a little over two weeks until the official start of spring but the season has been in full swing since the latest collection landed at the sister store to Ann Inc.’s LOFT. If you haven’t met Lou & Grey, it’s the style secret  you’ve been waiting for and on Sunday I had the chance to meet and greet with some of the stylists at my local store.
