You don’t always appreciate where you are. It’s part of being busy and constantly feeling obligated to be on some sort of schedule. I’m not saying it’s a good thing but its a habit I’m working on breaking. The last several weeks have been a crash course in slowing down and appreciating all the little moments in perfect time for the holidays.

It’s been a crazy week but if there was ever an expression I needed to hear as my leg muscles threatened to give way mid-plié, this was it. I knew what I was getting myself into but my experience at FlyBarre recently was much more than your average visit to the studio.

If there’s one thing I miss from when I wasn’t on the campaign trail, it would definitely be finding fun, new ways to stay fit. Sometimes I wear cute gym clothes to bed just make use of them and I can’t wait to get back in the studio or have the energy to regularly challenge myself to do just one more sit-up or squat.
