26 Things No One Tells You About Turning 26

This has been a big week. On Tuesday I officially turned 26 and have celebrated in almost every way I can think of. From kicking off the festivities in NYC last weekend with my best friend to enjoying a Carvel ice cream cake at home with my family, 26 is off to an amazing start.

After a hiatus from the aspiring jet-setter I used to be, I’m currently on my way to The Big Apple to visit my best friend for the holiday weekend.This weekend will be my last as a twenty-five year old so in a way, I guess I’m also celebrating the goodbye party for my quarter-life crisis. (Good riddance!)

For collegiettes and working ladies alike, it’s about that time of the year when we all wish for a break from the every day.Β In undergrad, when spring break was so close I could taste it, I found myself daydreaming about how I would pack my suitcase and what necessities I would need to load into a carry-on.
