Closet Remix: Summer to Fall

As is customary on most Monday holidays, I spent the morning in my pajamas and played in my closet. It was the perfect day to assess what pieces will carry me into fall as the temperature drops without needing to completely re-up on stylish components.

11 Best Ways To Start Your Day (As Told By Beyoncé)

If I had to pick one, I’d say that I’m a morning person simply because I like to have as much time to be productive as possible. But that doesn’t mean I have to like it.

12 Things All Commuting City Girls Must Own

Trains are late, traffic is inevitable and weather can be obnoxious. Commuting to work can be a real drag but if you’re prepared, it can be less so. My mornings consist of a ride on a train, changing to the subway and walking up a hill so when things go awry (which, in the city, can be quite often) it is nice to have supplies on hand that put me in my happy place.

Boston’s It Girl Loves: Bouqs

For those of you who know me, last week was a   v  e  r  y   long week for me at work. Two nights in a row, I exceeded the regular ol’ 9-to-5 schedule by at least 5 hours and by the time Friday rolled around, I was ready to have a relaxing weekend of lazy mornings, cups of tea and getting creative. Lucky for me, I also had a floral delivery to look forward to courtesy of Bouqs, the greatest new floral delivery company you have ever met.

14 Chic Things To Buy In 2014

1. The number one thing you need to look lean, long and sophisticated. (Buy them here.)

We’re now almost through the first month of the new year and already I feel pretty good about my ability to keep my resolutions this year. I’ve been great about drinking more water, eating healthy, and spending more time with my family. I’ve been good about making sure I eat breakfast every morning, “living” a little more, and finding time to exercise. I’m going to work on managing my time better so that I’m less likely to procrastinate important tasks, drinking less coffee and cutting out snacks that do more harm than good.

2. You and I both need this two-tone clutch because it's chic, edgy and less than $20. (Buy it here.)

In addition to these things, I want to work on purging things from my closet I don’t really wear and make room for things that are chic, versatile and sophisticated. Below I’ve rounded up some of the items on my wish list for when I’m able to do some early sartorial spring cleaning.

3. The quintessential summer shoes. (Buy them here.)
